Before you order, confirm:
- Tube outside diameter against the fitting size
- Tube material and hardness, since softer tubing may grip differently
- Thread type on the port side, such as NPT or BSP
- Whether one standard size can serve several machines
That last point is easy to skip. Standardizing on a few sizes cuts spare parts, and it makes it harder for a rushed technician to grab the wrong piece. Older machines often came with mixed hardware, so replacing everything at once may not be realistic. Start with the lines that change over most often.
Quick Couplings and Operator Habits
Quick-connect couplings help when an entire air circuit moves with a change part. An operator can separate and rejoin the line in seconds.
